John has 30 years of experience leading organizations in complex, high-pressure environments through significant technical, performance and transformational challenges. He’s enjoyed steady career growth across a broad spectrum of IT environments with international assignments demonstrating cultural sensitivity in diverse, global organizations.
He previously served as director of Strategic Initiatives in CSC’s North American Public Sector (NPS) Infrastructure Services Group, responsible for developing and implementing CSC’s strategic information technology initiatives and next-generation technology framework as part of the company’s global transformation agenda.
John joined CSC from SRA International, where he served as vice president of Europe and Africa Operations. In this role, he was responsible for growing SRA’s defense business in European and African markets, including performance on U.S. DoD information technology programs serving clients across three continents, business growth and strategic development.
Before joining SRA International, John progressed through several leadership roles at Northrop Grumman. He served as a key member of the management team that started Northrop Grumman’s Enterprise Resource Planning Services practice. He also led the company’s Defense Logistics Systems business, deploying a 160,000 user ERP system for the military and successfully delivering multiple software development programs at CMMI Level 5, built a thriving a business unit focused on advanced technology, software, and weapons systems integration programs.
John earned a bachelor of Business Administration degree, with a concentration in Management Information Systems, from James Madison University. He also has a master of Business Administration from Queens University of Charlotte’s McColl School of Business, Executive Program. He holds a Project Management Professional certification from the Project Management Institute.
