CSRA has developed long-term, successful partnerships with Louisiana state and local governments and universities. These partnerships have not only helped us build a state-of-the-art ITC operation for our clients, they also support jobs creation in northwest Louisiana and educational opportunities for IT talent development in the area.

“Our work with CSRA is monumental for Northwest Louisiana. This is a company at the forefront of cybersecurity, cloud computing and big data, and a company that’s applying the best of these technologies to improve the supply chains, IT systems, logistics, and application-based services of many major federal customers. Louisiana competed for this project against more than 130 other sites in many states, and it’s a testament to our government, higher education and economic development partners that we not only won, but also are succeeding in implementing a great project for our state and for Northwest Louisiana.” – Don Pierson, Louisiana Economic Development Secretary

Fostering High-tech Innovation and Research

The City of Bossier and Bossier Parish have made significant investments in the National Cyber Research Park—the site of CSRA's ITC facility which opened in the Fall of 2016. The National Cyber Research Park was built to attract businesses and talent focused on high-tech innovation and research, making this area strategic for government, industry, and academia to collaborate, innovate and develop state-of-the-art technology. Through the development of the ITC, CSRA is investing in the local community, broadening the technology corridor in Northwest Louisiana, and stimulating job growth in the region. CSRA’s partnership with local universities to enhance information technology-related college courses ensures students are job-ready upon graduation, allowing Louisiana to retain its best and brightest in the information technology sector.

Growing Jobs and a New Industry

Through our partnership with the State of Louisiana, CSRA has committed to bring 800 jobs to the ITC by June 2018. We are investing in the community and creating a new industry in northwest Louisiana—a Cyber Industry—organically growing the workforce with highly skilled and competent people dedicated to serving the federal government. It is also about building a team with core competencies that serve the business, technical, and mission needs of our federal government customers, cost effectively.

Supporting Economic Progress in the Community

CSRA is a committed leader in the Bossier City community and a magnet for a next-generation IT workforce to the region. It’s important to the community, not just because we are innovators at the forefront of developing mission-critical IT solutions for our federal government customers, but because our employees and their families live in the community and are positive influences helping to build an emerging hub for cyber and next-generation technology in northwest Louisiana.

Our generation-changing partnership with Louisiana will diversify the economy in this region with investments in the technology sector workforce. “CSRA is a prize you get when leaders with the ability to think outside the box come together for the good of the community and the good of our residents," said Wanda Bennett, Bossier Parish Police Jury President. "We are expanding and diversifying what we have for our families to take part in for years to come.”
