Government agencies need to look at how they can take advantage of all the various cloud platforms in the marketplace—meaning hybrid cloud is the only cloud.  That was the message of a CIO panel at the Red Hat Government Symposium, according to a FedScoop report.

“You really have to take a look at how you can take advantage of every one of those platforms, but not lock yourself in,” said Jane Circle, senior manager of Red Hat’s Global Cloud Provider and Cloud Access Program.

FedScoop reported, “Ultimately, the panel said CIOs searching for both security and efficiency will best find them in multiple, integrated solutions with a strong focus on user access control.”

At CSRA, we couldn’t agree more. As government customers migrate to the cloud, CSRA acts as an honest broker who can build a tailored solution that provides security, flexibility, and performance—all the while avoiding the dreaded cloud lock-in.
