CSRA was proud to demonstrate our flight simulation and training capabilities at the recent Army Aviation Mission Solutions Summit (“Quad-A”) in Nashville.  We were also thrilled to co-exhibit with FlightSafety International to showcase our joint capabilities which are used to train our nation’s warfighters.

CSRA is the prime contractor on the Army’s Flight School XXI (FSXXI) simulation services program, an ongoing training initiative at the U.S. Army’s Aviation Center of Excellence located at Ft. Rucker, Alabama. The purpose of FSXXI is to maximize the readiness and proficiency of aviators reporting to operational units.  We support initial entry-level and graduate-level rotary wing flight training with turnkey simulation training operations.  Our facility at Warrior Hall is the largest helicopter simulation training facility of its kind in the world!

CSRA and our partner, FlightSafety International, responded quickly to the Army’s Restructuring Initiative (ARI), developing and implementing FSXXI’s first UH-72A Lakota training services in less than 15 months after contract award.  CSRA offers UH-72A Lakota Cockpit Procedure Trainers (CPTs), Instrument Flight Trainers (IFTs) and Operational Flight Trainers (OFTs) to support Ft. Rucker’s Initial Entry Rotary Wing (IERW) training.

We brought one of our Lakota CPTs with us to Quad-A and attendees—from children to general officers from the Army aviation community—got a chance to experience a helicopter cockpit and take a simulated flight. Demonstrations were provided as well, and our bilingual subject matter experts offered Spanish-language presentations to senior military leaders of South American countries.

CSRA and FlightSafety kicked off the summit with a networking reception, which hosted over 275 industry and government counterparts. We’re pleased to hear the reception was hailed by attendees as the best networking reception in recent AAAA history. Check out the photos below!

In the Quad-A exhibit hall, CSRA’s sign was visible from the main entrance, and the booth stood along the main thoroughfare, offering us the opportunity to interact with all conference attendees.

CSRA was the official conference bag sponsor at Quad-A and upon arrival at registration, conference attendees received a CSRA tote bag. Conference-goers were seen carrying CSRA bags over the course of the conference, spreading the CSRA name throughout the Summit.
